2007 - The Year in Review
So, that's it... Goodbye 2006. Hello 2007. Actually, I like years with 7 at the end. They've all been pretty good for me. Here's hoping the trend continues for me, and for you.
Looks like the trend continues. 2007! It was a helluva year.
Room for Improvement
- Stop leaking money like a sieve. While I am cooking at home more, I seem to be a little more free with my money. I rather suspect I'm going to have to chat with the bank about debt consolidation. While I'm making inroads on my debt, I don't seem to have anything left over for immediate savings. I'm contributing to my RRSPs, but I don't really have anything liquid that I can use in case of emergency or XBox 360.
- Improve job satisfaction. I've taken steps to improve things in this area. A big part of it is figuring out what to change, and not changing for changes sake. I think I dodged a bullet by passing on the internal training position. Things will change here; they have to. I can't continue on the current path.
- I'd like to be able to buy friggin pants. Perhaps by getting my CPAP set up, and allieveating my sleep apnea, I'll have more energy and be more willing to cart my ass out to the gym or even just around the block for a walk. While medical professionals may be of the opinion that this is genetic, that doesn't mean I should roll over and give up.
Now on to 2008 and before you know it, I'll be making a 2009 Year in Review Post.
Happy New Year!

- I climbed the CN Tower.
- I found myself in a place where I was ready for a relationship, and almost magically, it happened.
- Some of my closest and dearest friends saw their dream come true.
- I rather suspect another couple of friends, Null and Britgal, as well as Lythrum and Mawavi, will be reporting in soon too.
- I spent my first Christmas with two families, and managed to not go insane. =)
- I had a wonderful New Year's Eve.

I'm glad to hear that your year went so well. I'm hoping that this one will be even better for you. I'm also happy to report that our little girl was born on the 14th of December and she's been merrily turning our life upside down ever since. I'm wondering when I'll ever find time to blog again. ;) Best of luck in 2008!
You forgot "blog more" under "room for improvement"
:D
I'm with WWJD. Happy New Year!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Hobbes :)
All the best in 2008!
