I'm Coming Home
Almost there. Just a few more hours at the customer site, and a few more things to do. It's been a long couple of weeks and by the same token, it's just flown by. There really is no glory is business travel.
I made some better food choices this week. On the weekend I hit the local grocery store and stocked up on fresh fruit, yogurt, puddings etc. So, breakfast in the mornings was not the All American Plate of Grease and Salt served up in the hotel restaurant. And then I'd come back to the hotel room at lunch where I'd make a couple of wraps and generally have something that didn't make me want to sleep all afternoon. I think the one thing that has thrown me off has been how much salt is used, in everything. Especially the ketchup.
In the end, we didn't make a run to Babe's Chicken Ranch, which I think is for the best. Now, I just need to make the run home.
