The Climb

It's getting close now. The climb is almost upon me, and while I'm not really prepared yet, I'm doing my best to get there. After all, I can walk 398 meters; now I just need to do it perpindicular to the earth.

This is all part of the World Wildlife Fund's fundraiser, where you sponsor climbers and they get the privilege, honour and glory of sweating their brains out their arse. Notable climbers this year include myself, Nail, the Foran Object and RJA who will be a three-peat climber.

After all, the Singer climbed St. Peter's in Rome and I can't very well let her beat me. My fragile male ego couldn't take it. I think after the climb, I shall hunt, slay and skin a woolly mammoth, thus providing sustenance for the tribe and reaffirming my manhood.

-edit-
This climb stuff might be going to my head though. There was a very fit man who got on the elevator this evening, and pressed the button for ground... one floor up, from the basement. Incredulously I asked, "Ground? Really?"

Dude, St. Peter's is 320 steps. If (when) you do this you can consider my ass sufficiently kicked. Like, five times over. I'm going to have to start looking for a marathon to run or something.

Hell, I climbed St. Peter's too. What they should warn you about there is that the step are funny little things that are not even as big as your feet in places and that the area is tight and cramped.

The CN tower climb is sooooo far beyond St. Peter's!!! But I know you can do it.

How do I sponsor you?
