Definition: 'Love' is making a shot to the knees of a target 120 kilometers away using an Aratech sniper rifle with a tri-light scope... Love is knowing your target, putting them in your targeting reticule, and together, achieving a singular purpose against statistically long odds."

Suffice it to say, this was a busy/good weekend. You can get most of the recap here and here. Dinner was great; Nail's lovely wife, Hammer, is a smashing cook. RJA makes a mean feta pate, which I had to sample lightly since I had a date last evening with the Singer.
Yes, the Singer has returned from Italy filled with stories and pictures. 493 pictures to be precise, though she managed to somehow pare it down to 350 essential pictures for viewing. But let's be honest, it's less about viewing the pictures and more about who you're viewing the pictures with.
The date was a simple low key affair. We just had coffee at the Second Cup on Bank and Sommerset. Of course, I had a brain fart and arrived a few minutes late. I'd been wasting time browsing, and really didn't understand what the numbers in the top right hand corner of my screen meant. The result being I left later than I'd hoped. But, I brought cookies.
Once again, time passed without notice and the topics of conversation were many and varied. Interestingly enough, we didn't chat much about the good old days at the Glen House as we were able to find topics in current events. Needless to say three hours seemed like three minutes. Even better, despite being parked in front of a cop shop for a length of time, I didn't get a ticket!
Anyways, a nice evening; maybe it is worth it.

Cookies smooth over many a boo-boo. :)
Cookies and smiles! Nice to know I'm good for something. ;)
...and buttertarts.
Don't forget the buttertarts. :)
Butterwhat? Sorry, lost the recipe.
And by lost, I mean I burned it and underwent brainwashing so that whenever I see a butter tart or a picture of Paris Hilton, I get violently ill.
OK then, next Christmas you can make me a cheesecake! ;)
Remarkabl effective at that too.
