Where does he get those wonderful toys?

At this moment, I'm connected to the internet via hijacked, and unsecured wireless router. Seems Bell is a little pissed off at me, and are giving me the silent treatment. The repair guy I had requested... never showed. In the process of verifying my phone still works, I seem to have lost my internet connection. If this keeps up, I'll be using Telus for phone and Magma for internet.

This is doubly annoying since the time I wasted waiting for the repair guy to show up, cut into my date with the Singer. The plan was simple; to make dinner at her place, and just relax. While not entirely flawless, the plan was executed with style. She made the rice (using some herbs she'd brought back from Italy), and the salad. I brought the chicken breasts and orange ginger sauce for Kiy's Famous Orange Ginger Chicken. Oh, and I brought ginger sparklers too. I mean, it's not like I was doing anything else this afternoon.

After dinner, we cleaned up and watched a movie. This was my first ever tag team dinner event, and well, the important thing is we didn't kill each other. =) After all, I was the interloper in her kitchen, but we managed to pull together and get dinner served.

For the movie, I'd suggested The Producers, as her seeing the show in New York had been a topic of conversation. I'll admit, Will Ferrell was hilarious, and the movie was over the top. It's not a movie I would have rented on my own, but there it was on the shelf, so I figured I'd give it a try. Kinda makes me want to see it on the stage now.

Anyways, tea was drunk, cookies were eaten, laughs were had and Christ, is it 2:30 already? I will say there is definite interest (reciprocated), and the periods between dates seem to be getting shorter. Not that I mind... Tuesday, here we come!
