My Girlfriend Friggin Rocks!

So, I'm now 31. I love prime numbers, and car fun notwithstanding, this year has turned out pretty well so far. Vacation has been good, what with the not going to work and all. It's allowed me to relax and even go out for lunch with the Singer. Let me tell you, there is nothing as eerie as listening to librarians make Dewey Decimal and Library of Congress jokes. Geeks from all walks of life.

I firmly believe that nobody should have to work on their birthday. Yesterday was particularly wonderful, as the Singer took the day off as well. Highlights include:

- Seeing Shrek the Third, on opening day, during a matinee
- Naptime
- Late night DQ run
- Getting some wonderful presents, including a framed version of the picture to the right. Guess what's going on my desk at work?
- Grocery shopping
- My kickass girlfriend making a wonderful glazed ham for my birthday dinner

That ham was some delicious, and understandibly she was quite proud of herself. And oh, that glaze. Yep, she just might be a keeper. As soon as I can find the recipe again (lost in the cleanup), I'll post it.
