Still Alive

Time's been passing at an amazing rate. I blinked, and the month of May vanished. Things are progressing remarkably well with the Singer; things just seem to fit, and it's been so easy. We've met the respective parents, and gotten the thumbs up there. At this point, we've met most of each others friends and not made complete asses of ourselves. Six months ago, I certainly didn't see myself here and while I don't know where the next six months will take me, I'm just enjoying the now.

My blogging has been light as of late, and that's partially due to vacation. It's also due to the fact that I'm happy and content and private. What Darklight said is true, there are a lot of things that go unseen and unsaid. And yes, I'm finding that it is indeed worth it. Also some of the issues that I'm working through are more than what I'm willing to put out there, but also they're best resolved by honest, open and considerate conversation between two people. Fortunately, I've been able to have those conversations, and I'm finding that what I thought would be issues, really aren't. =)

Finally, the other reason I've not blogged a lot is due to work. When I started this blog, I had no intention of talking about work, even in the abstract. Bitching about work is as much work as being there, and I really have no desire to give my HR department a reason to look at me. Suffice it to say, I'm trying to figure out what it is I want out of my professional life now. Once I do that, I'll be able to make the changes necessary to bring that up to a more fulfulling level.
