In Which I Bow to Peer Pressure

1) What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
Fell in the larve. It was a wonderful mess!

2) Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

3) Did anyone close to you give birth?
Null and Britgal - Health and Happy little girl, though I can save this one till 2009. Jan 2, 2008!

4) Did anyone close to you die?
Thankfully, no.

5) What countries did you visit?
Quebec.

6) What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
Long vacation on the beach.

7) What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
April 14 - ...

8) What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Climbing the CN Tower was almost as big as falling into a relationship.

9) What was your biggest failure?
I don't fail. I just haven't succeeded yet.

10) Did you suffer illness or injury?
Just my usual mental illness.

11) What was the best thing you bought?
Dinner at the Yangtze on Somerset. Well, it was really going dutch, but that's when The Singer and I really started to click.

12) Whose behavior merited celebration?
Everybody I climbed the tower with - we all exceeded our lofty goals.

13) Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
I try not to think about those people. I'm sure they get a little high when someone mentions their name.

14) Where did most of your money go?
Damned if I know - really trying to figure that one out. I'm going to have a chat with the bank on Friday about debt consolidation.

15) What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Playing parcheesi. Moving in with The Singer.

16) What song will always remind you of 2007?
Hallelujah, the k.d. lang version

17) Compared to this time last year, are you:
- happier or sadder?
Happier.

Same.

- richer or poorer?
Richer in love, and really that's what counts.

18) What do you wish you'd done more of?
Cooking and exercise.

19) What do you wish you'd done less of?
Procrastinating.

20) How did you spend Christmas?
Happily bouncing from family to family till Boxing Day, then coming home and just vegging for a few days. I spent two solid days in my PJs. Yar!

21) Did you fall in love in 2007?
Rumour has it. I'd belive the rumour.

22) How many one-night stands?
Negative One.

23) What was your favorite TV program?
Battlestar Galactica.

24) Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Hate is not the right word - pity, would be more apt.

25) What was the best book you read?
Dzur by Steven Brust

26) What was your greatest musical discovery?
A girlfriend who is in two choirs tends to lead to a lot of great musical discoveries.

27) What did you want and get?
A steady, healthy relationship.

28) What did you want and not get?
Nail's World Domination.

Stardust.

Pass.

Are you implying we're sane?

I really don't have one.

Probably Afghanistan.

Nail; it's just not as fun around the office.

I wouldn't say met; more like met again.

Persistance - it's a good thing.
