Figs and dates
Well, tonight is date night. This'll be a first for me, as I don't have to drive 2 hours plus to meet the person after a long period of expectations and preconceptions being formed. We've emailed a few times each, but really haven't talked about much.
I'm looking forward to this, and am a little nervous but not really. All I have to do is be myself, and I'm pretty good at doing that. I think I've grown a lot in the past year, mostly with liking myself and being able to say no.
Anyways, it's almost time to go home, get cleaned up and have a small bite to eat. We're going for bubble tea as suggested on Darklight's blog, but beyond that, nothing really scheduled. I guess we'll take it from there.
I really don't have any expectations for this evening, other than meeting someone new and hopefully having a good time. At the very least, I'll gain some experience in this whole dating thing. =)
