Hole lotta diggin goin on

Yesterday was filled with laughter, mirth and merriment as myself, Null, Nail and Optimist Prime headed out to Foran Object's place where he and his lovely wife, Pigtails, enticed us into helping fill in a really big bloody hole. So, for most of the day we moved sand and clay. There was a Bobcat there doing a fair bit of work too, but we still had to cover the footings with sand before the backfilling could begin.

To be honest, I really don't know what we were doing. I was just having fun playing in a great big sandbox. I hurt today though, but it's ok. I managed to stay fairly dry, till I took a knee in a mud puddle. Null was an early casualty, due to a suspicious breakfast. I drove him back in near record time, I'm sure and stopped in at the Nasty's... to... uhm... show them my mud covered arse. =)

Needless to say, I was in bed early last night and slept about 12 hours. As I woke up this morning, the Shivley one asked if I wanted to go out for breakfast. Naturally, we ended up at the Greek Souvlaki House. Duh! Breakfast was capped off with trip to XS-Cargo, where I managed to only buy a bunch of silverwear, some of which I'm going to take into work.

In other news, I keep plugging away at it. Work hasn't been fun lately, for a few reasons. Least of all is the work involved. Lavalife and Plenty of Fish are slow atm, though that's mostly because I don't carpet bomb with emails. Instead, I email and wait to hear back.

I have been idly considering getting a dog, after all, I have this great big farm I can walk him on. I just don't want to house train a dog, and I'd need to find a quiet dog too. We'll see, I spose.

I think what you want is not a dog, but a cat! Cats are way better. Plus: no housetraining or walking.

Get one from the humane society and love it to pieces. Try to get one that's over a year old, they go less fast then kittens and they're just as much fun to love.

Regardless, it might be a good idea to set it to private as mentioned in your comments. The blog will still be available on the internet, people will need to know the link to get there.

And it's not as if the prof knows your student number off by heart. What's the difference between that URL and stephs-place.blogspot.com?

Is there any easy/clean way to deal with litter boxes?
