As I may have mentioned at some point over the week, I had a date last night. ;) On Sunday I'd requested to meet, and last night we met in front of Bubblicity on Somerset. This is fortunate, since I'm completely downtown impaired and I'd still be looking for a parking spot if we'd gone down to the market.

I did have to go start doing some deep breathing before she got there (thanks Null), but really I'd spent most of this week getting myself mentally prepared for this. When she got there, I was at my fine and glad that I'd stopped at the bank on the way there to get some cash, since they only take cash. She guided me through the menu and ended up having a mango green tea latte with pearls. Go big or go home. =) She had a lychee sherbert, which was very nice (she offered me a taste). The pearls were interesting... sort of like a cross between gum and a caramel.

While we only met for about an hour, I had a great time and from her email she enjoyed herself as well. So, there's a high probability of a second meeting, which I'm looking forward to. I'm resisting the tempation to analyse everything that was said/how it was said and prefer to just sit and remember a good time.

Ok, first off Bubblicity is not Mozilla friendly. Damn them lazy web page designers!

Secondly, I'm glad you had a great time. That's very exciting news!

And lastly. I vividly remember my dating days, and post-analysis is definitely the best part! Lychee Sherbert - man, that's just too easy. ;)

Mango green tea latte?? Whoa, dude, seriously?

I mean, I'm certainly a hippy at heart, but that fancy shit keaves me a scant befuddled.

Still, very good news on the lady front. Now all you need to do is cook her dinner, and - BAM - she'll be hooked. ;)

Dinner? Bah, make her snickerdoodle or a cheesecake. "Food" may be the way to a man's stomache, but goodies are a way to a woman's. :)

Seriously though, glad to hear it went well. Thought of you all last night.

Chat with you this evening!

Your blog comment areas are like a freaking message board. And just as addicting.
