Point A to Point β
I was talking to my friend Naida tonight, and we got onto the subject of lavender cookies which led to me thinking I might like to start selling some baked goods at one of the local farmer's markets. Some extra cash would be nice sure, but there's also the stress relief that I get from baking. I'm sure this would add some stress, but I'd end up finding new ways of doing things. Something to think about anyways. In other news, 89 Chestnut is going to get a phone call from me tomorrow. It seems they decided to double bill us for the rooms. I almost unloaded on the poor bastard at the desk, which was well... wrong of me. Instead, I'll be having a chat with the manager... whose job it is to deal with pissed off customers such as myself. I'll also be sure to mention that desk jockey did an excellent job, cause well... he did.
Magic night tomorrow. Nail has made me a white/green deck, which means absolutely nothing to me honestly. I'm just parrotting what I hear him and DS and /dev/null talk about.
Finally, I made another batch of those Macadamia nut cookies tonight. They're for the last of the original (at least to me) cooks at QNX. She's headed off to be a grandma, and trust me... we're gonna notice her absence.
Now, I've three thoughts on this batch. First, macadamia nuts are friggin expensive; out of season they run $20/lb. Second, these cookies really do call for older/drier brown sugar. While the fresh stuff is nice to work with, there's a lot of moisture in it, which leads to doughy cookies. Finally, I need to work on my drop technique for spooning out the dough. Now that's real eye candy.

Probably it would work out better for you, but every time I try and make money from a hobby, it just ruins it.
You know, you could always sell them to readers of your blog as well. I'd be in for a bi-weekly order. :)
You had me at cookies.
