Mmmmmmonday
This post is for /dev/null, who has commented twice on our recent blogging drought. I maintain that my blogging rate is unchanged, it just appears slow as others have been remiss lately. So, this one is for you... almost like a long distance dedication, except I'm not Casey Kasem.

I've got my chocolate making class coming up on Thursday, and it's just down the road from The Works in Westboro. Talk about serendipity! I've also signed up for a Scotch tasting and appreciation class with Meetmarket, and I'll be accompanied by the lovely Optimist Prime.
Scheduling
Schedules are a funny thing, and I always seem to contact women at the most inopportune time. Take the Singer for example; right now she's very busy with concerts and rehearsals. As in busy until the 18th of Feb. In fact the only time she would have been able for dinner before then would have been Thursday. Due to my inability to cancel (I'd get credit, not a refund if I cancelled 10 days ago), I passed on that one night. Instead choosing to weather the storm, and come out on the other side.
Which leads to a dinner date with the Singer on February 18th. Those of you clicking along will have noticed something by now. Yeah, that's right... my dinner with her will be after my scotch class on the 18th. And while it's only four samples of scotch, I'll have to watch my intake.l; showing up to a date, three sheets to the wind is not really polite.
Scheduling II
In addition to the Singer, I'm chatting with the Linguist on PoF. She speaks 5 languages! My first reaction was, "Jesus... 5 languages!". Anyways, an offer of coffee was put on hold since she was going down to Cornwall this week. We'll see where this one goes anyways.
This seems to successfully continue my run of women who are just really busy when I ask them out for coffee. Maybe it's me. And maybe I shouldn't waste time worrying about silly shit.
