Pluggin Away
Well, to close out the chapter on my car, I heard from the insurance adjustor. They finally received the police report. It took almost three weeks to travel about 20 miles. Despite conflicting stories, the decided that they would find me 0% at fault, and not affect my rates. I swear I heard her choke on those words. So, it's done for now.
I learned a lot of valuable lessons out of this:
1) Always keep your insurance and registration handy.
2) Get the cops on the scene, don't wait to report it.
3) Follow up, follow up, follow up. They don't do anything unless you are reminding them to.
In happier news, I was able to find the Princess Bride Original Soundtrack on bit torrent. So, now I have both the instrumental version of Storybook Love as well as the vocal version, sung by Willy DeVille. If I ever get married, that's the song I'll dance to.
